You can change or update your registered devices through the Rave Manage Profile Dashboard accessible through eCampus. It is part of the single sign on, so you will sign in with your Adelphi username and password. After you are signed in to eCampus, go to the Services tab and select the University Mass Notification System icon.

The first time you access the Rave service you must accept the service provider's terms and conditions.

Your mobile device and email can also be tested by hitting the yellow "Test" button at any time.

Each primary mobile device must also be confirmed. You can do this by selecting the "Edit Phone" button to the right of the device.

You then must confirm your mobile carrier and hit continue. The system will then send a four digit confirmation code to your device that must be entered on the next screen. Then hit continue and your  device is confirmed.

For additional help and answers to FAQs, click the "Help" button in the upper right hand corner of the University Mass Notification System screen.

About Rave Alert

What will the system be used for?
Adelphi will use the Rave Alert emergency notification system to instantly broadcast urgent messages and deliver instructions to the campus community.

Rave Alert is an automated notification service that uses all available methods of communication to deliver important messages to our thousands of employees and students, in real time. By leveraging voice calls, voice mail, text messages we hope to improve the awareness of urgent University communications and increase our personal safety.

For example, we will use the system to broadcast messages about school closings due to inclement weather. This can be particularly helpful if the closing occurs in the morning and you have yet to begin your commute. There are also on-campus emergencies that may require immediate notification. We hope never to be faced with such situations, but the alert system will allow us to quickly inform the campus community and confirm the safety of our students, faculty, and staff.

We will not use this system for routine campus announcements. We will continue to use campus email and eCampus for that type of information.

What does the Rave service cost?

Rave does not charge students, faculty or staff for sending or receiving messages through this service. However, your carrier's standard messaging and/or data charges may apply. Please consult the details of your mobile phone plan.

What type of messages will I receive?

The University will only send you messages related to critical campus information and emergencies. You will never receive advertisements and your information is never provided to advertisers.

I already have contact information in the system. Where did this data come from?

The University pre-populated the Rave Campus Alert system with campus e-mail addresses. In addition, if you had provided information to the MessageOne AlertFind system, your data was converted to the Rave system.

What will be done with my personal information?
The University will only use the Rave Alert system to amplify its emergency communications system. The information is safeguarded and is not shared with any other party.
