Traffic Regulations Parking Regulations

Parking regulations apply to any vehicle using campus-parking facilities, including those of visitors.
  1. Parking is permitted in lined areas only.
  2. Parking is prohibited in fire lanes. The following University roadways are fire lanes:
    1. service road between Levermore and Blodgett Halls
    2. road alongside University Center
    3. service road between Alumnae and Post Halls
    4. roadway between Earle Hall and Science Building
    5. roadway in front of Chapman, Linen, and Eddy Residence Halls
    6. roadway south side of Woodruff Hall.
    7. roadway between Sports Center and Performing Arts Center.
  3. Parking is prohibited within 15 feet of fire hydrants.
  4. Double parking is not permitted.
  5. SPEED LIMIT 10 MPH.
  6. Speeding and reckless driving prohibited.
  7. Parking is prohibited on all grass areas.

Parking Off Campus
Most streets adjacent the campus have restricted parking. Students who park off campus are cautioned to respect the privacy of the University's neighbors. Students should not litter.
